The Brighton Buccaneers Treasure Trail 2019

The Brighton Buccaneers Treasure Trail is a free, family-focused scavenger hunt, which runs during the July school holidays as part of KidsFest. After the success of the inaugural 2018 treasure trail, Wellbeing New Brighton is running this popular activity again in 2019.

If you’d like to give this a try, you'll need to download and print the activity sheetAlternatively, you can pick one up from the New Brighton Library or from the New Brighton Union Church (corner of Union and Collingwood Streets).

What You’ll Need:
- The activity sheet
- A crayon or something similar to make the rubbings on the activity sheet
- Comfortable walking shoes and warm clothing (it is the middle of winter after all!)

Once you've done the treasure trail (the first clue's on the activity sheet), bring your sheet to the New Brighton Seaside Market on July 20 to collect your loot and go in the draw to win prizes (or drop it off at New Brighton Library or New Brighton Union Church before this date).

Things to keep in mind when undertaking the Brighton Buccaneers Treasure Trail 2019:

- The treasure trail is walkable this year (based around Central Brighton)
- It will likely take up to an hour to an hour and a half (approx.) to complete
- All the clues you are seeking are laminated and fixed to wire, which has been temporarily attached to the different locations along with round wooden etchings (which you use to make the rubbings on the activity sheet)
- If you get stuck, all the clues will be made available on the Wellbeing New Brighton Facebook page along with photos of the locations
- Please leave all the clues in their locations so other families can complete the treasure trail too J
