CMM's Community Response Team works with children, young people and families in schools and communities throughout the Greater Christchurch area. The team works with people in their own setting, whether this is at their school, their home or somewhere in their community.

The Community Response Team is a mobile team of social workers, group facilitators and a teacher that have the skills to respond to a variety of needs within the community. At present this team has a weekly presence in 15 primary and intermediate schools in Christchurch responding to needs amongst the children including anxiety, emotional regulation and social skills support. The team also works in several alternative education and special needs schools providing wrap-around social support for children, young people and their whanau.
